The GE Fanuc IC200ALG266 is an input module that is a TUV-certified device manufactured for the Versamax series. It consists of 15 channels and contains a voltage range of 15 bits. The module connects 15 single-ended current inputs to a common return. This module supports SIL2 applications. If three consecutive instances occur, scanning will come to a halt, the OK LED will be switched out, and an Internal Hardware error will be recorded. The module must be power cycled to resolve this issue.

The IC200ALG266 input module is a certified Versamax module made by GE Fanuc. This module was created to act as a bridge between various input devices. The module is powered by the backplane power supply, which eliminates the need for an additional power supply. It's worth noting, though, that power for the user's transceivers must come from somewhere else. The module's NIU or CPU facilitates brilliant processing to enable analog input data (15 words). This can later be used for this module's intelligent processing. The input sense resistors are protected by an active circuit in the IC200ALG266. If the input is inadvertently connected to +24 volts of power, the module limits the input power supply to 40 milliamperes to avoid harm from the power surge. Additional safety for the sense resistors is also embedded in this module.
When the module is switched off, any external transmitters connected to it that recognize open-wire faults would see the open input loop as an open wire issue, and also any external receivers connected in series with the module would not acquire a legitimate signal. When backplane power is provided, self-generated field power is operating successfully, the device has been configured, and/or it's been recognized on the backplane, the module's LED Indicator becomes green.
Moreover, when in 4-20 mA mode, the IC200ALG266 detects a lack of internal power fault for field-side circuits as well as an open wire fault for each channel. When an A/D conversion failure is detected, the module notifies an Internal Hardware fault. By presenting a known stimulus to the A/D conversion channel and checking the predicted output, the module detects this issue.
