The IC200ALG331 is a 16-bit voltage-current analog output module. The output voltage ranges from - 10 to + 10 Volts DC and the current ranges from 4 to 20 milliamperes. This module is an isolated type with 4 channels or outputs. A 24 Volt power supply is empowered to the outputs. The voltage output is powered from the module. The current outputs rule like current regulators and require supply to power the load. Loop supply isolation depends on if loads are isolated type while if the module supply is also used as loop supply then the loads are not isolated.
The main features of the IC200ALG331 module include it being software configurable and all the parameters ranges, fault reporting, alarms, channel scaling, and field recalibration can be selected or configurable. It has high accuracy in factory calibration and a 16 bit converter resolution. The Green FLD PWR led indicator implies logic power and field power presence for the analog field-side circuit. The power consumption of the IC200ALG331 module is 50 milliamperes from a + 5 Volt bus. It has a faster update rate and a crosstalk rejection of 70 decibels, minimum. The module is compatible with PLC CPU firmware version 1.2 or higher, Ethernet NIU EB1001 all versions, Profibus NIU PBI001, Device Net NIU DBI001 firmware version 2.1, or later, etc. It has 18 field wiring terminals with shielded type twisted pair cable that is recommended for analog channel connections. This module is reluctant to Thermal derating and is adequate and favorable for harsher environments.
