The IC200ALG430 is an Analog Mixed Module that offers four (4) analog current inputs and two (2) analog current outputs. It delivers four analog inputs that range from 0 to +10 VDC and analog outputs within the range of zero (0) VDC to +10 VDC. This analog mixed module has the ability to supply four analog inputs in a range of -10 VDC to +10 VDC and two analog outputs within a range of -10 VDC to +10 VDC. An external power supply source of 24.0 Volts is necessary for the outputs. The electrical power for transceivers of a user should be supplied from an external power source for inputs. The CPU and network interface unit (NIU) are smart processing units of the IC200ALG430 that offer intelligent processing. A total of 4 words of analog input data are delivered by the module. The module takes 2 words of data as analog output.
This IC200ALG430 Analog Mixed Module is responsible for providing 4 differential inputs in one group and 2 single-ended outputs in one group. The presence of field power is indicated by FLD PWR light-emitting diodes and OK light emitting diodes that offer an indication of backplane power presence. The backplane current consumption for 5 Volts of output is 50 milliamperes maximum. The recommended range for external power supply is +18 VDC to +30 VDC while the recommended range for current consumption is a maximum of 160 milliamperes. The input impedance maximum is 200 ohms. The input current range is 4 to 20 milliamperes, and the resolution for 4 x 10-6 Amperes is 8 counts. The channel-to-channel crosstalk rejection is a minimum of 30 dB.
