The 20BD5P0A0AYNANC0 is a PowerFlex 700 series Adjustable Frequency drive that is manufactured and branded by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. It is a compactly-designed AC digital drive with an internal resistor braking option which offers enhanced motor control in a variety of industrial applications, especially the ones demanding high precision motion control. This drive is designed to provide high-performance motor control, by employing state of the art motor control methods, programmable from the standard volt per hertz control, sensorless vector control, and vector control that features the patented Rockwell Automation Force Technology. The 20BD5P0A0AYNANC0 has a 3-phase fused AC input voltage class of 480 Volts AC, with an output rating of 5 Amperes and 3.0 Horsepower; it has an acceptable input range of -/+10% at 47 to 63 Hertz. It has a drive to motor ratio of 2:1, with a displacement power factor of 0.95 along all speed ranges, and it operates with an efficiency of 97.5%.

This drive uses a sine coded Pulse Width Modulated signal for control, and it has a programmable output frequency range of 0 to 400 Hertz. Its output voltage is adjustable from 0 Volts to the rated motor voltage, and it also has an I/O control voltage of 24 Volts DC. This drive provides 0.1% speed control across a 100:1 speed range without a feedback device, and it also offers ±5% torque regulation without an encoder device. It features multiple stop modes and two (2) independently programmed acceleration and deceleration times. It has a transistor braking option and supports CE-certified line filtering.
